Trayyanta, an endeavor in its entirety, is a quest at the macrocosmic level that signifies the pursuit of the human race to find deeper meaning of life beyond mundane existence as propounded in the Upanishads. And at the microcosmic level, the quest of the choreographer to re-investigate the power of abstractions and imageries in Bharatnatyam to perceive and project the Upanishadic truths.

Giving up the dependency on words it reaffirms the connection of dance and spirituality.
